The Process
STEP ONE
Our home organizing service begins with a one-hour consultation that includes a tour of the spaces that you would like us to help you organize. During this time we will discuss your lifestyle as it relates to your organizing needs and your vision of the completed space.
If you'd like us to help, we sign an agreement, set up a start-date and move to step two.
Please see our Pre-Consult Questionnaire to get started. While you do not need to have answers to these questions before-hand, it is helpful to know what I will be asking of you so that you can better determine your goals.
STEP TWO
Once the plan has been established, we start sorting and editing items in the space. At times we work directly with our clients throughout the entire process. Other times we work independently, according to the plan we have designed together.
We try to keep the process simple, which involves sorting items into categories such as Keep, Sell, Recycle/Trash, and Donate.
STEP THREE
Once unnecessary items are edited, we create organization systems customized to your preferences and lifestyle. Items may be donated or sold for you. We like to re-purpose the containers and organizing tools you might already own, but if there is something else that would work better, we will take measurements and recommend the organizing products to fit your needs.
STEP FOUR
Finally, when everything is in its place, we talk about maintenance. This is a very important part of the organization process. We give you tips and techniques, specifically for your space and habits, which you can use to maintain the order of your space longterm
